Kaboom Card Game | Official Product
We designed the Kaboom card game for players who crave fast rounds and nail-biting suspense. Every turn brings you closer to victory or disaster as you draw cards, build your hand, and hope to avoid the game-ending Kaboom.
Perfect for family game nights, travel, or casual gatherings, this deck plays in 15-20 minutes and scales beautifully from 2 to 6 players. Our compact box fits in a backpack, glove compartment, or carry-on, so the action goes wherever you do.
We’ve printed each card on premium 300 gsm linen-finish cardstock that shuffles smoothly and resists wear through hundreds of rounds. The bold, high-contrast graphics ensure every player can read the deck from across the table, even in dim lighting.

How the Kaboom Card Game Works
Each round, players take turns drawing cards from the central deck and adding them to their personal stash. You’ll collect point cards, wild multipliers, and special action cards that let you steal from opponents or force extra draws.
The catch: somewhere in that shuffled deck lurks the Kaboom card. Draw it, and your entire hand explodes—you score zero points for the round and pass the deck to the next player. The tension builds with every draw as you decide whether to bank your points and pass, or risk one more card for a higher score.

Card Construction & Durability
We source 300 gsm cardstock with a linen finish that provides excellent snap and shuffle feel right out of the box. The textured surface prevents cards from sticking together during humid summer game nights or camping trips.
Each card receives a UV-protective coating that guards against spills, greasy fingers, and the inevitable snack crumbs of marathon gaming sessions. We’ve stress-tested the deck through 500+ shuffle cycles to ensure corner integrity and print clarity.
What’s Included in Your Kaboom Box
Your purchase includes 110 game cards: 80 numbered point cards (values 1-10 in eight suits), 20 action cards (Steal, Shield, Double Down, and Pass), eight wild multiplier cards, and two Kaboom cards for variable difficulty.
We pack a laminated quick-start guide on a single card so new players can jump into their first round in under two minutes. The full rulebook explains advanced strategies, tournament scoring, and all three variant modes with illustrated examples.

Your Questions About Kaboom Card Game
The kaboom card game supports 2-6 players, though we find the sweet spot is 3-5 players. Two-player games work well for quick duels, while six-player rounds create maximum chaos as the Kaboom card circulates faster.
All player counts use the same 110-card deck without modifications, so you can adjust group size game-to-game without rule changes.
Most single rounds finish in 15-20 minutes from first shuffle to final scoring. If you’re playing tournament mode with cumulative scoring across multiple rounds, expect 45-60 minutes total.
Setup takes under a minute—just shuffle the deck, deal starting cards if using variant rules, and begin play. Teardown is equally fast since all cards return to the tuck box.
Yes, we print each card on 300 gsm linen-finish cardstock with a UV-protective coating that resists wear, spills, and fingerprints. Our stress testing shows the deck maintains structural integrity and print clarity through 500+ shuffle cycles.
Families report years of regular use before considering replacement. For maximum longevity, store the deck in its tuck box away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures between game sessions.
We recommend ages 8+ for the full ruleset, as younger players may find the risk-reward timing and action card interactions challenging. That said, many families successfully introduce 6-7 year-olds using the simplified Junior Kaboom variant.
The Junior mode removes action cards and reduces the deck to 60 cards, making rounds shorter and decisions more straightforward while preserving the core push-your-luck excitement.
The standard 110-card deck includes two Kaboom cards, but only one enters play per round—the other stays in the box. This creates the baseline difficulty level that works for most groups.
Expert players can add the second Kaboom card to the active deck for a harder, faster-paced variant. The rulebook explains this “Double Trouble” mode along with tournament scoring adjustments to compensate for increased explosions.
While a table makes card management easier, the kaboom card game works fine on carpets, picnic blankets, or even laps during car rides. Players hold their personal cards in hand rather than laying them out, so you only need communal space for the draw deck and discard pile.
The compact footprint means you can play on airplane tray tables, small café tables, or around a campfire with minimal setup space required.
We offer individual replacement cards through our customer service team for a small fee plus shipping. Contact us with your SKU number and the specific card you need—we’ll verify availability and process your order within two business days.
The most commonly replaced cards are the two Kaboom cards and high-value point cards, so we stock extras. If multiple cards are damaged, consider ordering the full replacement deck rather than individual cards for better value.
